For our office in Amsterdam Sloterdijk, we are looking for an experienced colleague that can take over the position of:

HR OFFICER

(Preferably at least 32 hours/w)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Provide administration of all paperwork, responses to and guidance on all HR processes and policies
• Maintain all HR related data, keeping up to date with legislation and labour law changes
• Monitor and track probationary/contractual periods, absences and holidays for a team of about 35 employees
• Coordinate all aspects of recruitment and selection process
• Handle all payroll related activities
• Receive and deal with queries on HR procedures, systems and entitlements
• Administration of the company Pension Scheme
• Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth transition and escalation of issues to them as required and to ensure that all issues raised by employees and stakeholders are followed up as appropriate
• Act as a back-up for the Administration department and assist in general office matters
• Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and standardization of the HR service where applicable


REQUIREMENTS:
• HBO level of education in HR or related fields
• Excellent command of Dutch (native level) and very good command of business English
• Proven working experience in a similar position for at least 5 years
• Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to organize and prioritise tasks
• Advanced computer skills for Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and email applications
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, flexible and willing to work in an international company
